Dr. Rupali Prabhu
Rupali graduated from Dental School in 1999.
She has worked in private and public community clinics in, and around Melbourne. She has also lived out of the city, spending a period of time in Benalla, rural Victoria.
Rupali is passionate about providing high quality dental care and takes pleasure in sharing a story and a laugh with her patients. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry and always strives to provide dental treatment in a relaxing and comfortable environment.
Rupali believes her practice and approach to dentistry creates an experience that will change your notion of what a trip to the dentist is. Outside of work she loves to spend time with family and her young children, sharing her passion for reading and travel with them at every opportunity.
Dr. Sonali Prabhu
Sonali graduated from Dental school in 2003.
She has worked as dentist in both community and private practices. She has also worked various roles within the dental industry.
Sonali believes that your mouth is the gateway to a better wellbeing, and that a healthy smile will leave a great long-lasting impression on people. Sonali loves interacting with patients and ensuring they are comfortable and at-ease. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry.
She particularly loves working with older clients. In her spare time, she loves cooking delicious Indian dishes and enjoying time with her family and friends.
Dr. Mehraz Kasim
Dr. Kasim has worked in a variety of dental clinics, including community, aged care and school dental.
Her varied experience across different clinics has allowed her to accrue a diverse experience over her career, having catered to a multitude of dental and oral needs for patients of many backgrounds and ages.
Dr. Kasim has also recently furthered her knowledge by partaking in a course in aesthetics and skin fillers. She uses these skills to provide her patients with the satisfaction they have long desired, achieving a happiness within themselves and of their appearance.
Dr. Kasim is always seeking to meet her patients’ needs with the best possible outcomes. She believes in conservative and preventative dentistry, and her goal is always working to improve and maintain the longevity of her patients’ teeth. Dr. Kasim looks forward to meeting you and providing your family with the best possible level of dental care in a friendly and relaxing environment.
Starry has been with us at Valley Dental since 2019.
She has always wanted to be in a role where she can provide people care, support and an overall positive experience.
Having completed her certificate III in Dental Nursing Starryis looking to further her career studying more courses within in the healthcare industry.
In Starry’s spare time she likes to spend time with her young nieces and nephews and go on new and exciting adventures. If you’re lucky she might even drop in for a cheeky chat when you are in the dental chair.
Chelsea joined our team in 2019 on student placement for her Certificate III in Allied Health Assistance course.
Her bubbly and outgoing personality was a perfect fit for our team, therefore when she finished Year 12 (VCE) we invited her back as a part-time employee, while she continues her education, studying a Bachelor of Nursing at Deakin University.
In Chelsea’s spare time she likes to nurse injured animals, and raise her baby lambies. You will probably see her around the surgery in-between her University studies. Chelsea always brings a smile to people’s faces with her bubbly personality.
Abbey is one of our new friendly and outgoing assistants.
Abbey completed Year 12 (VCE) in 2020 and is currently studying a Bachelor of Criminology at Victoria University.
Abbey is super-caring especially when it comes to our younger patients. She has been known to adopt all the beautiful babies who come into our clinic while their mothers have their dental treatment.
In Abbeys spare time she loves to hang out with her puppy, ‘Marble’ as well as going camping with her family and friends.
